The City of Lake Worth has been an amazing partner with the Lake Worth Little Free Library project since the very beginning. Our elected officials and the City administration completely embraced the concept of "Take A Book ~ Leave A Book" allowing public spaces in the City to host the very first Little Free Libraries. Over time, our partnership has only grown more collaborative and more effective.
Late in the Summer of 2017, the City of Lake Worth invited elected and administrative officials from all over South Florida to our fabulous Lake Worth Beach Casino Ballroom. Breakfast was served along with a presentation all about one of the citizen initiative projects that makes Lake Worth unique and attractive for families and businesses looking to invest their lives and livelihood in a Community of Neighbors.

As a prime example, the City of Lake Worth featured the Lake Worth Little Free Libraries project and created this remarkable 16 page brochure. At that time, there were 85 Little Free Libraries scattered throughout the City in front of neighbors' homes, in City parks and Greenways, at the beach, at the boat ramp, at every elementary school in the City, at City Hall and at the entrance to the Snook Island boardwalk.
